Canadian Thanksgiving

The staff of Pixelheadonline took a brief vacation and journey to Ontario, Canada for the weekend. Unknown to us it was Thanksgiving weekend in Canada. Very similiar to the US holiday, however, it is always on the second Monday of October. There are many of the same traditions, due to history and location of the two contries. Upon return from Canada, we found our inbox full of submissions to Pixelheadonline and our other directories. But seeing that they were mostly free submissions, we will get to them at a scheduled submissions review time. Upon discussion, we have decided that free submission review will take place once a week or numberous times throughout the week, but take up no more than one hour per week. Premium submissions will be handled as soon as they are received.

Glad to hear you had a good time in Canada. I moved to Whistler, BC from Australia a few years ago, it is a great town and country, and I have no intention of leaving in the near future. If you happen to ski, you should look into coming here for a holiday sometime. You can use my website in my name, to check out the snow conditions. This season is amazing, and as a general rule I would recommend coming here the first or second week of January.
