Many pet owners don’t realize the importance of Tags!

Sadly you are so right. I remember hearing all the stories about all the pets that were lost during Katrina. Many of these pets could have been gotten back with their owners had they been wearing a pet tag such as the pet tags sold by Pettags.com.

we have 2 dogs and one cat….all of them have tags. don’t know what we would do if one of the dogs got out of the yard and the person who found them had no way to get back with us…we would be devastated!

I totally agree with using tags on all dog and cat collars. i couldn’t imagine losing my cat, Gizmo. He has that micro-chip in his ear from the adoption clinic, but there’s no real way of testing it out, is there?

Anyways, having this is a definite back-up.

Its funny how pet owners just don’t realize the importance of name tags, with sometimes the attitude mt pets won’t get lost.

Actually, the best value in pet identification is a “CollarTag” made by the BoomerangTags.com folks. I’ve ordered from the site you’re talking about and it not only tool a while to get the tags, but the quality wasn’t good. My new tags fit right onto my pets’ collar and/or harness (for 3 dogs and a cat).

I think that it’s SUPER important to get your dog, dog tags. We recently had our dog run away and she was gone for a week. We did find her at a local SPCA but it would have saved a lot of time and heartache if she had had her tag on. I did read the last comment though about this site not being the best so I am definitely going to look around. Thanks!

Dog tags along with the embeded pet id is a good thing..our dog had one when we adopted her. We had to fill out the paperwork, but we were able to have the info transferred to our info.
