SEO, MyBlogLog-News, and PowerSet

Posted by Pixelhead

It seems like ages since I wrote on this or any blog, but in reality it hasn’t been that long at all(a week or so). I have been actually writing Christmas Mug and The Emperor's New Jammieson other blogs as either a guest writer, much like Lizzy had done last week in her SEO and the Newbie post. Not that I had nothing to write about on this blog. I was initially going to write about MyBlogLog-News, a site that I discovered via MyBloglog. This site has a new little blog widget that allows you to view pictures of other bloggers along with headlines from their newest posts. I tried to install it, but it did not seem to work with WordPress. Must need a little tweaking. Good idea though, kinda of like a visual RSS feed. Hover over the picture of the blogger and the headline of the blogs current post appears in what appears to be the Alt tag.
I also had a story brewing in my head about the Link Building pioneer Eric Ward(love his Link Moses), but lost focus after dealing with one of my SEO clients(the basis for my future post “Why I hate SEO”). I actually started this post last night, but had to deal with another client issue. Then after dealing with that task, I then offered up my cushy seat at Panera to an elderly lady who seemed to be having trouble finding seating. Her and my conscious did me a favor by making me leave to pick up my son from Hockey practice.

So as it turned out, The newest post turned out to be the one before this one, PowerSet(David) Aims for Google(Goliath),which was spawned by TechCrunch’s latest email subscription. This seemed to somewhat inspire me to write a half hearted post about the David and Goliath relationship that is emerging between the two companies.

So there you have my last post of the week, which was actually my first, but due to circumstances turned out to be my last.
