Pixelhead blog now has page rank of 4. Nice. Just realized this when I heard their was an update in progress. Very nice. Too bad the home page of the directory still has PR0.
I was thinking about going out and getting some really expensive text links to artificially boost Pixelhead’s page rank like so many other directory owners do, but I really don’t think much of a directory that has a high page rank home page, but has few sites submitted, nearly empty categories, or few cached interior pages let alone interior page rank. The only thing these directories are good for is advertising other directories on or to use as a selling point when they sell the directory, which quite a few do. I in the future may also do this to directories I am trying to sell, but not to www.pixelheadonline.com, since it does have my face upon it.
