I was reading Jon’s post Pownce – Kinda Like Twitter But On Steroids, and Jon was so convincing, I just had to get my hands on a beta invite. Jon, who is not a twitter fan, likes the concept of Pownce, which will allow for far greater message lengths than the 140 character limit for tweets.
Well anyway Jon was really helpful in making sure anyone who wanted an invite was able to network with someone to get an invite. Via a link to Scot Smiths blog, I found out that Scot had some invites left.
I now have 5 invites left if anyone would like one.
It was a pretty quick instal, that took less than five minutes. I have not really used it yet, but it is up and running. If anyone would like to add me to their network here is my Pownce url. I have also added my Pownce Id to My Networks page.
So now that I am a member, what can I do with Pownce?

Scheduling and Organization for ProductivityDo Follow Update
I was just reminded of the post I had done for the Meme The Ultimate Guide to Productivity Group Writing Project
when I read 137 Parts To The Ultimate Guide to Productivity, which is a summary post that lists 137 posts that have been written in response to the meme.
My original post, Passion and Productivity, is still a work in progress that I hope to rewrite in the future.
Anyway, I had been on DawudMiracle this past weekend, and loved his post that tells how he doubled his income in two months. And then today, I found the post about Writing Project, and found Dawud’s post for the meme entitled How To Stay Focused For Greater Productivity. Looking at both of these posts, I am getting the feel that Dawud is so successful not only because he writes some great posts that inspire others, but does by using schedules, both short term(daily)and longterm(monthly).
For his daily schedule, he breaks it up into chunks and works for 50 minutes at a time. He then takes 8 minutes off and two minutes of every hours is used to get situated back at his desk.
This guy is amazing, I wish I was this organized.
So now I need to ponder? How do I get more organized. What do I need. A clock, a schedule, and a purpose.
Anyway, it is now late, I started this post early in the morning, and it is now time for bed. Tomorrow I get organized.
Got any tips for organization for me?
