I won an Ipod Shuffle from AlexShalman.com

Posted by Pixelhead

This morning I was quite surprised when I was checking the inbound links I went on AlexShalman.com and found I had won Red Ipod Shufflean Ipod Shuffle he had been giving away in his Personal Development contest he was holding. Then this morning Alex emailed me for my mailing info and wanted to know what color Ipod I wanted. So I went onto the Apple site and ordered a red one. Apple is donating the proceeds to the Aids Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa.

I originally found out about Alex’s contest when he left a comment on another Personal Development Contest post I had done. Alex was letting me know about his contest which was very similar to Aaron’s contest which is still being held to promote the launching of Personal Development Partners.
So now, I will have an Ipod Shuffle. What will I do with it? I can keep it for my own listening pleasure. I can give it to one of the kids for a Christmas present. Or better yet, I can use it as a prize for a contest here on Pixelheadonline.

Got any suggestions for a contest or what I could do with AlexShalman’s Ipod Shuffle?

This was a first me too Tracy…goes to show you that you just never know when you will win something. As it turns out, you may very well have the opportunity to win this very Ipod. I am giving serious thought to having a contest here on Pixelheadonline.

Well, it’s probably your best choice to use it as an investment. Maybe you can use it as a reward for a person who can think of a best way to bring one of your blogs to a higher level. Just my $0.02.

Wow, thats crazy stuff! Congrats on the win. I have yet to win any contest in the blogsphere, but I’ve had fun entering a lot of them and staying tuned. Out of all the gadgets out there, the iPod is pretty darn cool. But then they had to make this whole cult following… so I’m not sure you want your kids to have it? :c) You can toss it back into the blogosphere, I know a lot of bloggers would love the thing!

ps. Red is a good choice, but blue is better. ;c)

It’s already too late for my kids, since my son got an Ipod for Christmas last year, now my daughter and step daughter both want one. I think they are holding out for the actual Ipod, not the Nano or Shuffle.

I am partial to blue as well, but Apple is donating the proceeds for Red Ipods to fight Aids in Africa.

It does seem like another Ipod contest is order, but I may have to wait until the Personal Development contest is done. Did you enter that one yet?

Thats good to know Adam about the red ones, thought I don’t think I’ll be buying one anytime soon. Haven’t entered any new contest lately, I’m getting discouraged a little with them things. But always happy to see friends at least win!

That’s amazing, well done for you. I’m sure all your iPod music will be legal, officially-downloaded or ripped from CDs you actually own, just like the rest of us ;)

Well. What else would you do with the shuffle except

1. Use it
2. Sell it on Ebay
3. Make a contest for graphic designs – best one gets a shuffle.

I will more than likely use it for a contest, since I would never use it. I have had an mp3 player for about 2 years, and have never gotten to download tunes to it…I guess it is about priorities.

Lucky man, I also didn’t win any thing online and I got into a few competitions.

Yea you just can never tell when you are going to win. I would check out some of the contest sites for contests on new blogs that don’t get a lot of traffic. I heard that Viddler.com gave away an Ipod for its first contest and only had a handful of entries. Those are the kind of contest I want to enter.

Use the shuffle for when you go jogging or exercising. It’s small and it doesn’t skip.
