A Group Writing Project Contest
Posted by Pixelhead
One of Pixelheadonline’s top commentators for September, Sarah of Bluejar.com had run a Group writing project last month and had such a good time doing it that Monika of TheWritersManifesto decided to do a similar Group Writing project contest this month.
I found out about the contest,
because Sarah had included both of our blogs on the Jar Full of Links post on Friday. I had just published a post teaching how to add a blog to your list of blogs on Flickr post, and Monika said that it was a perfect entry, and I was entered…sweet you got to love that. Especially since I had wanted to enter Sarah’s group writing project, but was not able to come up with an entry. I really do manage to get writers block when I try and force it…know what I mean.
There are currently 43 responses on the contest post, so it sounds like she is getting a really good response.
What Can You win?
- Potentially win $50.
- A month long advertising spot at the top of Thewritersmanifesto.
- A site review on TheWritersManifesto with hyperlinks with desired keywords.
- Meet some cool people via the contest.
Want to enter?
- All you have to do is write a tutorial post, and it doesn’t need to be anything spectacular. Take a look at mine, I am sure you can do better than that.
- After you write your post, contact Monika via a link in her writing project post and let her know where it is located. Thats it.
Ten ideas for a tutorial post.
- How to write a piece of code.
- How to write a great piece of link bait.
- How to make a meal.
- How to use a type of software.
- How to use a site like Myspace, Facebook, Digg, etc
- How to meet women or men.
- How to write a business plan.
- How to take a good picture.
- How to draw a face.
- How to paint a room.
These are just ten ideas for posts, and I am sure you can come up with at least a dozen more of your own.
What “How to post” are you going to write?
