Some Diggs Last Week

Posted by Pixelhead

I had a really weird week has just past. I was lucky to get two posts in on Thursday. Were the time went I have not a clue.

I did do quite a bit of Digging, and I now have over 75 friends in my Digg network. I have learned that I need to not respond every time I get a shout from a fellow Digger. Although I do admit I found more than one groovy post. Here are some of the Diggs that I noted.

Have a good week, and stop by and say hi. If you have a site you want me to Digg, let me know, I’ll try and check it out.

I am having a hard time trying to figure how to use the bookmarking networks. I signed up with stumbleupon but can’t figure it out. Maybe you could put up a short Digg tutorial.

Thanks,
David

David, thats a good idea. I want to gain a bit more experience with it before I started writing how to posts about Digg though. I still consider myself to be a fledgling Digger.

I think social networks are useful short term, but the real trick is to get targetted traffic to whatever you’re selling. Haven’t quite figured it out yet (except PPC, which works, if your ROI is sound).

As long as your competition doesn’t go clicking on your adds. Blogs seem to becoming more and more mainstreamed. I have had more than one SEO client inquire about starting one. I actually have one client that gets well over 1/3 of his traffic from his blog, which helps to reduce is dependence on Google.
