yes the film is good but have you read the book!!!!!!!!
it is so powerful. and seems, like the other book by james jones that became the film &#039;thin red line&#039; to expose some awful truths about the second world war. stuff you never see in the movies. i won&#039;t go into details here but let me just say that both books are two of the most painful and powerful things i have ever read.</description>
