Aqua Dots Recalled

Posted by Pixelhead

Aqua Dots Picture
Aqua Dots, a craft type toy manufactured in China and carried in toy stores throughout the world has been recalled. Another top commentator from October, Mike of TheNewsleak.com, has the latest information on the Aqua Dots recall.

The tiny dots, which are used to make various objects such as the Star Wars Storm Trooper below, are toxic when swallowed due to a chemical coating which when sprayed with water causes the dots to fuse together. So if you have bought Aqua Dots, you should immediately take the recalled toy away from children and contact Spin Master to return for free replacement beads or a toy of equal value.

Consumer Contact: For additional information, contact Spin Master at (800) 622-8339 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. ET Monday through Friday.

I had recently read the “Four Hour Work Week” (another story) and in it the author suggested that I avoid the news because it takes up a lot of your attention, and you can’t do anything about it.

Well, that makes a lot of sense except I have a 3 and 5 year old and miss information like product recalls of popular products.

Thanks for the post!

No problem, it was a good post, I had actually just heard about the Aqua Dots that morning, then I saw it on your site when looking for a post to review.
Glad to have passed it on.

You should buys your kids an Eyeclops this Christmas. I don’t think they would be able to swallow this toy. They’re sure to open their mouth on it though to get a 200x maginifaction of their tongue. An Eyeclops with a huge flat panel TV creates hours of gross out fun.

How can they sell toxic toys? I think all stuff from the China must be checked.

The Eyeclops is a pretty cool toy gadget. I am sure it is going to be a hot toy this Christmas. Hope you are able to rank for it.
