Dude, I Need a Cash Advance

Posted by Pixelhead

Today as I was driving down the highway, a subcontractor that works for me called and asked me for a cash advance. Nationalpayday.com LogoAt the time I thought it was kind of funny, because I had a request to do a site review for Nationalpayday.com, which is a site that specializes in payday loans and cash advances.

At first when asked to do a review of a site that does cash advances, I was a bit skeptical, but after looking at Nationalpayday, I was actually very impressed with the site for numerous reasons which include:

As an employer, I don’t want to be in the habit of paying out funds at unscheduled times. I also do not think it is a good idea to do this, because it does not encourage responsibility on the part of the employee. Nationalpayday.com provides a service, and as such it is a service that requires a fee. A fee that hopefully will encourage the borrower to think twice about getting payday loans with great frequency.

So what do I think about Nationalpayday.com?

I think the payday loans or cash advances that Nationalpayday.com provides are a valuable resource for people that require cash for that occasional emergency. You know, someone has an illness and you need some cash for some OTC drugs and doctors office copayments. Or who has not had a car break down on them and need cash to get it repaired, and payday is no where in sight.

Yes, I think this type of emergency loan is awesome as an emergency back up, but not as a regular means of getting cash because the skill of budgeting ones finances does not exist. And as the information on Nationalpayday relays, they would prefer that their customers develop sound personal finance skills, to include being prepared for emergency situations.

So if your in a bind for some emergency cash, check out Nationalpayday.com for a cash advance that will be in your bank account in about 24hrs.

This is a paid blog post for Nationalpayday.com.

My car had been breaking down repeatedly, and trying to fix it was a shock … the mechanic refused to give me a quote. He actually said we could spend thousands to fix it, and something else would go wrong in a month’s time. Working 15 to 20 miles from home, and being grateful to find an honest mechanic, I had little choice but to buy another car. Which meant financing and a down payment … it also meant getting a reliable car, the first one I’ve ever had that cost more than my camera.

Knowing about an ethical, non predatory payday loan company might have been useful between buying the car and receiving my next paycheck. That’s about the only time I’ve ever been able to make use of this kind of service, but having to choose between giving up a good job and overextending myself on a car, wasn’t that difficult a choice.

So … a month ago I wouldn’t have read this post based on the title. Recent experience has shown that you’re right: anybody can paint themselves temporarily into a corner.

I have been there myself Forrest, and really hope to never have to return, but you just never can tell.

I have long since moved on from the cars that need fixing on a daily or weekly basis, but remember all of my cars fondly.

I am really envious of you and your cameras Forrest…I can only aspire to get a sweet camera. I guess I better learn to use what I have first.

Thanks!!

I finally got to the car that shouldn’t need anything but routine maintenance, and I have to say I LOVE the difference! The cars I’ve had in the past were always cheap up front, but expensive to keep running over the long term. A penny foolish and a pound wise, I have to admit it was painful for about a week, but a year from now the pain will be forgotten.

And that brings me back to why I find this post so interesting, along with the other one you wrote about real estate investing. For some bizarre reason, people my age – I’m 29 – don’t understand money. I have a friend with thousands in credit card debt from buying music CDs. It’s great for us to have more financial options available, but not enough of us take responsibility for how we use them.

Financial education does seem to be lacking in the educational system. Taking responsibility for your finances starts with financial education.
A good blog about personal finances is http://www.thesimpledollar.com/” rel=”nofollow”>The Simple Dollar. Trent has a lot of great info about financial education, which most of the stuff he writes about pertains to his life.

It’s always a good idea to study your future financially. Through college you’ll learn the basic ones and apply those things when you get married and have kids of your own. Before getting a loan, I guess all you have to do is plan it intelligently and be aware that money is money. There’s really no way of earning easy money unless you just won the lottery. :)

Debt that helps us, enriches our life, manageable, and not a burden is a good debt.
Taking a loan is not a bad thing, if it can bring you more benefits in your life than the debt interest itself.

Bad debt come from taking loan for unnecessary stuffs and having no definite plan to pay them back.

They are good in case of emergency. I would not use them all the time becuse of the interest rates. Sometimes people have no where else to trun so they do have a use.

Yeah, loans are a good thing as long as the person taking out the loan is responsible and able to pay it back
