Real Estate Investing Game:StumbleUpon Find

Posted by Pixelhead

In addition to finding the Stumble Through Button, another feature of the StumbleUpon tool bar that my son and I have been using, is the feature that allows surfing by selecting a channel. The channel that we have been using is the online games channel which allows us to stumble some really cool online game sites.

Mansion Impossible Screen Shot
For example, yesterday I came across Old Poppa Crappaud’s Mansion Impossible game, which is a real estate investing game where the objective of the game is in the shortest amount of time, to buy the million dollar mansion. This is done by buying and selling smaller pieces of real estate, which then enables you to increase your net worth so that you eventually will be able to afford the grand prize, the big mansion.

Real Estate Investing Game Details

Not including the big mansion, there are three different types of houses… the cheap, middle and high. The profits from each is a direct ratio of so the cheap houses will result in a little profit. But you start out with 100K, which is enough to buy one little house. You need to make a quick buy, and then sell and make enough profit to be able to buy two of the little properties, and then get enough profit so that you can buy the next level of real estate investment, and so on until you can afford to buy the big mansion. When you click on a house and you don’t have enough money, a balloon comes up saying “Too Much”. Within the levels of investment properties, I also noticed there are some that will start out at higher prices or lower prices. The lower priced properties of the next investment level are the ones to keep an eye out for, as these will allow you to move up to the next investment level that much quicker. Once you go up into the next level, don’t be tempted to go down into the lower levels for a deal, as these deals in the lower levels will waste your time, and prolong the amount of time until you can buy the big mansion.

Why I love this game

To put it simply, it is a fun basic real estate investing game. Check it out and see if you can beat my scores. Let me know how you do.
My Stumbles ButtonOh, and if you don’t have the Stumbleupon tool bar installed, I strongly suggest you download, install, and start Stumbling. Click on the badge to the left to add me to your StumbleUpon network, I can still add a few friends, as I have not reached the 200 friend limit.

Stumble Upon is fantastic…! I never thought a service to show me [semi] random pages would be interesting in the least, but they do a great job of it.

Now, real estate isn’t my thing, so I doubt I’ll be able to best your score … but this is a very interesting game. I really do enjoy watching the way such an old, maybe even ancient, industry is changing because of the internet. If your game catches on, and leads to more educated consumers, that would be a great thing for everybody ( except real estate agents ).

Well maybe the game would serve to start the real estate fever in some young people, and thereby give some business to agents.

Wow that’s a cool little game. I find real estate to be very intriguing and plan to invest in real estate in the future. What better way to learn a few things.

Mike, it really is an addictive little game. I introduced it to my 7yr old daughter last night and she was able to get to the mansion in just over 30 years. I did it this morning and got the mansion in a little over 18yrs.

It inspired me so much, I actually went out looking at real estate today.

I like stumbleupon too! I stumble every game I find worth adding to my website (http://onlinegames3.com) and after a few hours I know if my choice was right, if the game is addictive and people find it funny enough and if I should find more of this type of games or I should find totally something totally different. Btw, the most played game on my site, Monster Wheelie, got real success thanks to stumble upon.

This is an interesting game. I would like to play it sometimes. It is educational, provide they player about the basic things in real estate. To parents out there, if you want your children to involve in real estate, this game is a good start to let your children learn about it. ;)

real estate is a game of mind and waiting for opportunity to sell the property or buy land in low price and then sell it for high price in the future. i like this game but i hate cheating.

“yesterday I came across Old Poppa Crappaud’s Mansion Impossible game, which is a real estate investing game where the objective of the game is in the shortest amount of time, to buy the million dollar mansion.” This game is really cool, while playing this game some time I actually feel like an original real estate agent.

That simplifies and makes the understanding of all nitty gritties of investment in real estate so simple and entertaining. You really wish to play more and more and learn more and more.

I played this game a few times and I like it, although it seems too short to enjoy, but I do not think I learn something about real estate aside from the fact that the price continues to grow, lol. I just simply click (or buy) the higher price house(s) that my money can buy and sell the houses I own when the price starting to go down. But spotting the popping house along with the price while monitoring the houses we own is quite fun :)

If you can find a buyer that is willing to give you your asking price on the property then absolutely you can make 25k. You just have to remember to not hog all the profits and leave some for the next guy. That’s how you grow rich, when you get greedy all goes bad!

This is a great game for the simple fact is that’s how it usually works in life. You get small and medium houses accumulate them and then sell them off and trade up to a mansion.
