Make Money with Viddler

Have you heard about Viddler? Viddler is an online video social media site Viddler Logo much like Youtube, but different. A major difference is that Viddler allows commenting with text and video as well as tagging with in the video timeline.

I first started using Viddler after I saw a demonstration at BlogPhiladelphia. Here is a list of my videos I have up thus far.

Viddler now allows you to make money on your Viddler videos.
The first step is to sign up for an account. The next step is to enable the option to earn advertising Revenue on your videos by going into the “Revenue” tab at the top of your your Viddler home page.

When signing up for the 50/50 Revenue sharing, you will need two things:

Paypal account
Amazon affiliate id

Ads are not entirely Amazon adds, so if you are worried you’ll need to sign up for an an Amazon Affiliate Id, you don’t. But if you do, it just offers you more advertising options for which to get paid.

Could not access the link to your ‘list of videos’ in Viddler. May be you have marked them private. Also couldn’t find any information about revenue in Viddler. Could not find it in the FAQ also.

Murali, thanks for letting me know about the link. I had to edit out your url because it was not to a blog. If you have a blog you want linked to, please let me know. I also changed the url in the link. I believe you need to sign up for an account then the Revenue button is visible. In addition to hearing about the revenue sharing via Viddler, I also read the TechCrunch article Viddler’s New Tag-Based Advertising System, which is all about their revenue sharing program.

Yes, commenting with text and tagging in the video timeline it`s the future of technology, get in and be the first!

Yes, I think Viddler is way ahead of the game. I am not sure being early in is all that important, but being able to network and make videos that people will watch seems to be important.

The videos you make can also be used in your video blogs. Video blogs are rare in number and would certainly be of interest. Linking also is a must.
