My blog mentor used to teach me how to estimate a blog's income- each rss readers represent $1 per month. If the blog have 500 rss reders, it might be making $500 per month. Why are they trying to sell it? It’s really a good blog with around 500 rss readers.

Most of the prices were ludicrous and the domain names were a joke. I have seen that sitepoint.com has domains for full working sites for sale as well. I actually think selling off a valuable piece of Internet real estate is a bad move. Perhaps he could sell off shares of it, but remain a controlling share holder and still receive a residual income from the real estate that he has developed. Would be nice if it worked that way.
