MyMileMarker.com seems to be a very good service but since I have for sometime discontinued using my vehicle and use public transportation, I have little use for it, but fact remains that it's very essential to optimally use the natural resources. I've never crossed an ocean, and without a TV, my idea of what the sea is supposed to be like seems to be a little out of date. We've been through a lot and keep struggling: a cold war, nuclear proliferation, AIDS. As the sky gets noticeably browner, we see freak storms, more powerful wildfires ( supposedly because a hotter desert dries out the sage brush, turning it to kindling ) and more ... I personally find this a lot more terrifying than, well, international terrorism. I've been doing what I can, personally, to have less of a negative impact. I have to admit I get pretty greedy with the pleasure travel, but I'm flattered at the idea any of my photos might inspire anyone to realize why preservation is so important.
