Your Logo Contest

Why a Logo Contest? Lizzie and I are getting ready to move, and Alex’s Ipod is sitting on my desk. Rather than risk loosing it in the move, I thought why not have a Logo Contest(see previous Logo Contest post).
As some people suggested, I would like to make the contest for non-professional layman designers.
The winner of the contest will receive:
- My AlexShalman.com Ipod Shuffle.
- At least 1 month banner add (w205px h175px) right at the top of the side bar on Pixelheadonline.com.($150)
- 1 month banner add on Learningseobasics.com
- 1 month of basic SEO package ($4oo)includes a brief on-page review and approximately 30-40 directory submissions.
- The awesomely helpful Joe from Mcbsconsulting.com (My Computer Back in Service) would like to contribute Up to 2 hrs Free Phone Consultation to Help Setup, Enhance or Fix a Wordpress Blog. $100 Value.
- Anyone Else got something they would like to add?
Every participant will receive.
- Link love (at least 2 links from Pixelheadonline blog and 1 in the directory – maybe more)

Design a new and unique Logo for:
- Your site
- A friends site.
- A site you love that has a really bad logo.
- Thegrubhound.com (my restaurant review blog) could use a logo.
- Our inactive SEO site, Baldydog.com could use a new logo (Lizzie doesn’t like the current one)
To Enter You Can:
- Make a blog post about your logo. Describe the site it is for and how you created it. Use this posts trackback url so I will know about your post or…
- Comment here and put the link were the image is hosted into a comment on this post or you can use img tags as well as hyper linking the image to your site. Also in the comment leave a little bio about yourself, and describe any processes that went into creating the logo.
The logo image should have dimensions less than or equal to a 205px width x 175px height.
When you submit your logo, use an active email address where I can contact you. I’ll send you an email to let you know you are in the contest. I will also send out reminder emails several days before the end of the contest.
Submit one Logo per person, which should be a logo that you have actually designed…no third party logos please…and as I mentioned above, please only non-professional designers allowed…so my friend Roman of Desaro Fashion, is not eligible, but he can be a judge.
Contest dates
- Accepting Logos from 3/10-3/24
- Final judging post on 28th of March.
Judges
Each contestant will also be a judge. After the 24th, but before the 27th, you will need to publish a post that includes your top three choices. Your Logo can be one of the three. A point tally will be used to determine the overall winner. 3pts for each 1st, 2 pts for second, and 1 pt for third. Use the trackback url in your post.
Also, in your post it would be great to give some feedback about your choices.
Don’t want to enter, but want to be a judge, you can do that too. Leave a comment, stating just that.
