Beware of Green Beer during St. Patty’s Day
Posted by Pixelhead
Hope all of you that celebrate St. Patrick’s Day stay away from the green beer or at least practice moderation. I actually
stopped off at a local establishment and had a pint of Guinness last night. I asked about the green beer, but the owner said that they had gotten a barrel of the green beer in the past, and ended up throwing a large portion of the keg away.
Anyway, just be sure to use your head while partaking in the St. Patty’s Day festivities.
I had been in Hershey over the weekend for the Hershey Jr Bears Post Season tournament that my son’s hockey team, the Reading Jr Royals PeeWee A Black team played and came in 2nd. I’ll be writing about that on the hockey blog in the not too distant future. I’ll also be reviewing the travesty known as a HolidayInn that we stayed at in Grantville, Pa…Needless to say, I am glad that the weekend is over and my son’s 2007-2008 hockey season is over for the most part too.
Today or tomorrow the top commentators post for mid March will be out as well as the Environmental post for March.
There have been more than a few entries in the Logo contest, the most recent being located at theWorkatHomeCommunity.com and I am sure a ton more are in the works. A Logo creation resources post maybe in the works too, so if you have any good resources for creating logos, let me know.

I think it would be all too easy for me to find an excuse to have a pint every day…after a pint of Guinness two days in a row, I have to put the kabosh to the daily Guinness drinking. From my past drinking experience, Guinness has a way of going down way too smoothly if you get used to drinking it on a regular basis…oh, and not a fan of green beer either.

Did that bar owner say why he threw out the green guiness? Was it bad? I’ve had plenty of green beer, but not guiness… Just wondering if I should stay away from particular brands of beer tinted green or not.
thanks
