Really, what is happening with the world today? Nothing gets better and everything gets worse. We can spend a billion dollars a month on war and much more than that inventing different ways to kill off our species, but have to beg for funding to help the environment and our starving species. Where is all the free water these days, stats show that we are running out of food and water quickly and with the growing population we will be out of both soon. I could go on and on and on, but can anyone really hear me over the loud stereo system in their Hummer sitting on 22′s.

You can still get a Camry Hybrid. It may not be in the top 3 but it sure beats a Hummer.

Hey Pixel, thanks for the heads up on the 1000 Blog protest, I added my blog to it. I am a co-founder of an Internet Marketing company in Toronto, and one of our major clients is Ontario Nature, a not for profit organization that protects and restores natural habitats through research, education and conservation, and we let them know as well. Hopefully we can create a buzz, as I am also letting our other clients that have blogs know about this issue.

In my opinion, the environmental problem today is caused by consumers ourselves. And, the major culprit will be the corporates and MNCs that are changing our consumerism perception through advertisements. So, the best thing that we can do is stop following the big brands and buy only things that we want.

How much does the BMW 118D run for? Certainly has a nice look to it and BMW is such a success in the States you think they’d bring it over to take advantage of the booming eco-friendly car market. Sure, it might just be a niche marketing as of now, but it’s catching on and growing big time.

Just doens’t make sense.

The way gas prices are escalating, you would think this market would be growing by leaps and bounds. I just heard on the news this morning that prices are expected to be above $5 per gallon this time next year.

$5 a gallon is going to be ridiculous. The worse part about it is everything we eat, buy, and consume needs to be transported. This raises the price of everything else too. I am a huge fan of government deregulation and allowing for alternative energy sources to come about. There are a lot of smart folks out there with great ideas.

Gas is already very high, I just filled up at $4.20 per gallon. I wish I had one of those green cars. I have seen a few hydrogen powered BMW’s in the LA, California area. They were pretty sweet.
