Wayne (15) our top commentator for July, continues his series of Blogger.com Help posts with a post about inserting video into Blogger.com posts. If you are a blogger.com user who has a ton of experience or a Blogger.com newbie, stop by Wayne’s blog and ask him a question or two or give him some valuable feedback on his Blogger.com help series. Wayne also recently redid his template, and I think it looks awesome.

Saratoga Picks (8) sniped the number two spot(pardon the pun) by a nose(couldn’t resist). If you are inclined to bet on horses, then give the Winningponies blog a read.

Paul (7) whose site was also recently redesigned(looks great Paul), has a post that discusses the recent bill “H.R. 3221? which is designed to provide relief to the real estate market. Want to get some free advertising on Paul’s blog, stop in and voice your opinion about the real estate relief bill. The winner will receive a month of free advertising on his blog’s home page.

Thanks for the link love! I’ll be diving into templates pretty shortly in the series, and that should be quite an experience for me. With all the horror stories I hear, I hope I can help many more people out.

I don’t know why, but the plastic bags exchange we had last month really stuck with me. I was never a real big pusher for change on the environment, sure I wanted change to happen, but I always suspected that things would work themselves out. Higher reasoning would prevail. But alas, naught. We still have plastic bags everywhere we go. In fact, Food for Less, the local market I frequent doesn’t even have paper bags! At least, not visible for those that want them.

The plastic is too readily available, while paper or the preferred cloth bags are relegated to a lower rung. Sigh. I guess that’s a long winded way to express what I would suggest for August. Cheers!

We will just have to keep working on the plastic bag issues. I have bought several cloth bags, but forget to keep them in the car. Got to work on that as well.

One part of me wants to bitch and say its always the loud and good looking that get all the awards. Unfortunately, in this case, the damn award is going to a good guy , a friend of mine—Wayne—he has DSL, hard to compete with guys that are good looking andcan move that fast—know what I mean?? Course I AM OLDER, and WISER—-and in this thing for the long term—-time WILL TELL. Enjoy the award buddy, you earned it—-but the clock is ticking—–heh, heh, heh—-

Thanks for the tip on bloggerhelp I am just now beginning to use videos in my posts and have heard how beneficial they can be. I will check out the blog you mentioned and hope to be on your top commentators list one day. Thanks again.
