I just saw a DailyMonster video the other day, and was mesmerized by the video. Since I enjoyed it so much, I thought why not post it here so everyone that visits Pixelheadonline can see it as well.
I wonder how long it takes to create such a cool video?
That’s amazing. I love how the artist starts by using air to spray the ink, creating an unpredictable shape. Then the artist elaborates on that shape to create a surprising strange and humorous creature.
The video presents a strange paradox of impressing the viewer with the artist’s professional talent while inspiring the viewer to try drawing a creature like this using the seemingly simple approach.
WOW! That is amazing! I thought at first it was just a video of him drawing and creating the creature. That alone was a good enough video for me. But to go above and beyond and add some animation to it? Blows me away.
*This kinda thing really impresses me because I have absolutely no knack for drawing whatsoever.
Nothing is more inspiring than an ink blur on the white paper.
And animation is added when it the monster remains alone on the white background. Even photoshop allows you to extract a clear object from uniform background onto the new layer and then edit it. It seems to me you can also make some simple animation in photoshop, too, though It’s easy to guess some special animation editor can do this the same way. Am I right? Pixelhead should know for sure:-).
With that, the video really impresses)))
Sova, with Photoshop, it seems like it would be a long and tedious process…Perhaps we can get the artist to elaborate on his methods…unless of course its a trade secret…Sorry but the name Pixelhead does sound like I might have a bit of that kind of background..I am not nor could I be considered to be an artist…my art teacher actually begged me not take art as an elective.
Genel, I am not quite sure about your Flash question.
Jay, at least we can appreciate it though.
Mikael, I have checked his site several times, since then and have not seen another video, so I am assuming not.
That is amazing. Now I remember myself like ten or even more years ago producing aka painting that kind of monsters. It was something fantastic – a great experience. Now when I see that people are actually doing that on video and animating it. It’s lovely, don’t know what else to say
I found it interesting, but what could this be used for?
Is the creature able to walk of the white page or is the page like a blue screen in the way they filmed the original superman?
The video is amazing indeed! I would like to know how much time can be spent on making such a funny and at the same time talented video.
