Google+ – Connect with Me on Google Plus

If you have a Google+ profile, please feel free to connect with Baldydog on Google+ and me Adam Donkus.

I have been using Google plus off and on for several months. It does seem to be a decent way to connect with people that have very similar interests. I also like it because, well its a Google property.

Be sure to create both a personal page and a page for your company as well. Be sure to add the Google+1 badge in addition to creating your company page, to insure that your site is included in the Google+ directory( that is the directory that is used when someone does a search while logged in to Google+. Additionally, there are some Google+ directories poping up that are not affiliated with Google+. I am not sure how beneficial getting listed in the non-Google affiliated Google+ directories is, but hey you never know. Here is a link to once such Google+ directory that accepts free submissions.

Much like Facebook, be sure to add some pictures at the top of your Google+ profile.

I have not used Google+ much, so I don’t have a ton of advice. Got any Google+ advice or blog posts to share?

i think google+ is very important for SEO experts and/or website owners.Because it helps with getting pages indexed in google search engine.For this reason popularity of google+ is increasing day by day.

Hi Pixelhead – I’ve been on the fence for a while about whether to create a Google Plus page for the business. I do believe that getting +1′s on blog articles help with search results, but I have not seen anything besides anecdotal evidence.

Google + has the same function as the Facebook. But Google + ends up doing even better when it comes to indexing pages and sites on Google. Because it is a social network itself google, the page that has a tan, will be even more relevant. Social networks actually help us with our corporate publications.

I’m new to google plus and i often like the what’s hot section. The problem is, i see many people replying to comments with a plus sign before the recipient’s name. But i simply can’t find an option to reply when you hover over the comment. Google’s chrome has a reply to author extension, but how to reply when i’m using firefox? What’s the default way of replying to comments?

Currently Google+ pages are a joke, there is nothing there apart from another unbranded feed. Facebook pages can be branded and without branding web presence is worthless. Overhyped as per usual. There’s nothing there. One thing is clear and that is that people are NOT flooding to Google+ because there is no reason to.

If Google+ pages end up as serious customisable portals then they may possibly have a contribution to make, but until then, the world is in FB and FB offers customisable branded pages. Hard to beat.

I already added a google+, But i don’t create a profile page. Is it same of gmail profile. I’ve Listen that no more create for google+ profile if you have a gmail or google account profile than it’s enough.

I’ve been trying to get everyone I know on Google + since it came out. In my opinion it’s just a superior service to anything else out there. People love their Facebook though, haven’t done very well with conversions. Ho hum.

I think Google+ is a superior product to Facebook and really like the interface and the fetaures it offers.

However, having said that, I think it will be a massive task to overthrow the sheer dominance of Facebook due to the huge volume of users it allready enjoys.

I hope Google+ can gain enough users to make it viable, but I doubt it will.

Google plus had gained its popularity even before it had been released. It is an excellent alternative to many of the social media and is doing a good business for the ones who know how to make business out of it.

Google+ is great, easy to use, attractive and fun. Sometimes I prefer Google + than facebook because there are some features that Facebook loses to Google +, or Google is unbeatable, will never die.

At first I thought that Google+ would overtake facebook, but now I’m not so sure it will, even though of course I far prefer Google+ to that utterly annoying site called facebook. How they ever got 800 million users is beyond me.

Google plus is the one of the new product from Google , Google have the 85% market share in Search last year ,but they were not succeed in social web world .Firstly they introduced Google Buzz .Buzz was lost in the competition , the main competitor is Facebook . Google Plus preference and +1′s will bring up on the search engine when someone looking for skirts for example results from previous interactions with a certain website. therefore, if you get someone to add you in their circles, and you sell skirts, when that person will be looking for skirts will bring you upper in the page due to those connections (even though that person had not accessed your website yet). This is how i see Google Plus working.
