PCOS(Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome)

I was again surfing the web (I do that a lot) and I came across a blog Hobbits From The Shire, where the author tells about how she is dealing with PCOS, a condition for which she was diagnosed. PCOS, a syndrom that is frequently misdiagnosed, and has many terrible symptoms to include infertility, irregular periods, weight gain, skin problems, deression and anxiety, and excessive hair growth(Hirsutism). According to Insulite Labs, “Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), also known as Polycystic Ovarian Disease,(PCOD) is often caused by a hormonal imbalance brought on by Insulin Resistance-related obesity. It’s a disorder that affects an estimated 5 to 10 percent of all women, and is one of the leading causes of infertility.” Insulite Laboratories is a company that is dedicated to reversing Insulin Resistance.

The author of the above mentioned blog continues her writing about the topic of her weight loss and dealing with PCOS in another blog, Healing Lifestyle. We will have to keep an eye on her blog to see how she is doing. Apparently, there is no miracle drug to reverse PCOS, but Insulite Labs has developed a system to help defeat it.
