Mikael over at PetInsurancepro.com, has a post about Pet Insurance that takes care of Vet Bills. I first heard of pet insurance well over a decade ago, but as of this writing, I still have never bought any. However, I do have friends that have it, and have used it for their families pets. If you are a pet owner whose pet is no longer a pup or kitten, you might want to check out Mikael’s site.

Agolf Cartson, a new commentator to Pixelheadonline and to the Top Commentators list, has a groovy site that deals with the Golf Cart niche. I had toyed with the idea of getting a golf cart to go up and down our driveway, but it is only a little over a tenth of a mile so it really isn’t that long of a driveway, but it is quite a hill. I wonder if you can retro fit one of his used golf carts with a snow plow?

Paul over at Newhomesection, has a blog post that lists some amazing deals on new homes in the new year. If you live out West and are in the market for a new home, give Paul’s site a look.

seosoeasy, another new site to the top commentators list, is an SEO site with lots of info on SEO. It seems to be a fairly new site, but I am sure some great material will be coming out of this site. I in particular will be revisiting his SEO Resources category of posts.

WordPress Update and Merry Christmas

Last week I updated WordPress. In so doing the settings were changed and the link structure setting was changed to custom, where previously it was set to the date-name structure, so anytime a visitor or myself tried to visit a post, the result was a page not found. After being frustrated by the host support, I decided to do a little tooling around this morning in the updated WP back office, and I realized the link structure setting was different. One click and voila it was fixed.

I also noticed prior to this incident that when I tried to get to the blog, occasionally I would be redirected to the home page…I believe Paul of Newhomesection sent me an email telling me had similar results. And thanks to the Marbella Spain Real Estate site blogger who notified me as well. My webhost said that there was a redirect in the HT access file. Got to hate when that happens.

Hmm..still seems to be redirecting to the homepage..I deactivated the “comment relish” pluggin which is a pluggin that sends a thankyou email to first time commentors…that may have done the trick.

Well at any rate, I had a little vacation from the blog and am now back in full swing. Until my current host has the one click update to WordPress 2.7, I should be groovy.

Since the holidays are fast approaching, this will also serve to be my Merry Christmas

blog post. I have been posting pictures for the 2008 Christmas Season on Flickr, if you wish to check out my pics, just click on the ice picture to the right. Until my next next post, I wish everyone a blessed holiday if you are celebrating it. Be safe, ttyl.

Paul NewHomeSection has a post about Arnold’s action that is being taken in California. The state has started a project that will provide solar electricity for about 1300 homes, which is the first of 150 similar projects projected for the near future in the Terminators home state. If you are in the located in the west coast, and looking for a home, check out Paul’s site as he has a not only a ton of real estate listings in many states, but he also has a lot of real estate related info.

Wayne John‘s post about the Blogger.com Interface is sure to be a resource for those of you using the Blogger.com blogging platform. Yea, I know WordPress rules, but Blogger is owned by Google, so a ton of people are using it…I sadly have a few Blogger blogs, and Wayne has been a great resource when dealing with those blogs.

MLM Home Business has some good advice for those thinking about getting involved in an MLM business. Check out the post about Vampire Networks. Hmm, I wonder if I was in a Vampire Network?

As you may or may not have noticed, I did not do a mid October top commentators post. From here on out, I will be doing only 1 top commentators post a month. This was done to decrease the number of outgoing links, which hopefully will increase the link juice of the links that commentators do receive.

I am really digging kouji‘s American Election Haiku…very creative indeed. Love the widget. Kouji, you’ll have to do an SEO haiku for me. Submitted the Haiku to Solinkable.

SoLinkable, which is a social book marking site, has added a Karma widget feature which allows even more promotion of your site on Solinkable.com. I may have to do a review of this clean looking social bookmark site. I just signed up in less than a minute and have added two of the top three commentators posts to my Solinkable bookmarks.

My favorite shopping diva, Nicole Price, has a post not about shopping, but about the Biggest Divorce Settlements. Submitted this to Solinkable.
