A Case for Telecommuting

Itscarma.com:Commuter Awareness & Responsibility in Metro Areas

Itscarma.com LogoTelecommuting is not the primary focus of Itscarma.com, but it is one of the suggestions as a method of reducing the primary focus of the site, which is to reduce Gridlock. Itscarma is a grass roots company, that I first became aware of at the Earthday Festival at Emory University.

From my days of commuting, sometimes several hundred miles a day, I can relate to the frustration of urban gridlock. Thankfully, however, I currently work at home full time, and no longer have a commute to dread each day. However I still must make it out to drive kids to various appointments, which is a considerable amount of driving.

Anyway, Itscarma is a really cool site with not only a groovy mission that anyone who drives can appreciate, but it also utilizes flash media in a manner that is both informative and entertaining.

Telecommuting rocks. It saves you money, it saves you time, and the earth benefits too. There’s no better way to work…if you can stay working. Too much TV can kill your career.
