April 2008 Top Commentators

Posted by Pixelhead

It was a really slow month on Pixelheadonline. Due to family obligations I had very few posts for which others to comment upon. Hopefully next month will prove to be more productive.

The rest of our splendid commentators for the month of April 2008 are below.

Thanks for stopping by one and all.

A side note: I just got a backlink form Servizot.com who has a post that contains 65 blogs that use Top Commentator Plugin. He also has some really good advice for those who attempt to spam sites that use this commenting plugin. This leads me to the post ending question:

How do you ensure you don’t leave Spam comments?

I really liked Eva’s post on BioFuels. I stumbled it. Thanks for the shout out Pixel!

Eva’s dead-on about bio-fuels. So may bad things about them. the only way out of the mess is slowing down and becoming more efficient in our use.

Thank you for the plug Pixel. If the intention is clean, why would anyone leave spam in the comments?

Nicole, being listed on many “Do Follow” lists and the like, brings marketers who want to get a link. To make sure that a comment is published, and not deleted as spam, how do you ensure your comments are good? Having “clean intentions” is probably the best way. I am seeking to educate those who would like to use the comments for marketing purposes.

Hello Pixelhead,
I am going to answer the question for myself (I don’t guarantee anything for those who are not going to make good use of the list). First off, I have been a long time reader of your blog and really enjoy it :)
Concerning blogs with top commentator plugin, there is no way I am going to spam, I usually read posts before posting a comment. I think spam comments are easy to detect, those who will come and leave 10-20 comments on the same day.
PS: Servizot.com is maintained by a girl, well 2 sisters not “HE”. haha

That’s awesome that you actually give a shout out to your contributors. That shows your appreciation for the people that are here reading your posts and leaving intelligent comments. Eva is right, it is nice to be appreciated… and it’s rare that somebody shows appreciation for something like this.

It is not easy to be a good commentator but for those who did it, good job..
